About us
A hands-on, owner-led pool company
Glassy Mountain Pools is a local, family-feel business built on repeat customers and word of mouth, not a franchise sales pitch.
About Jeremy
Jeremy is a South Carolina native. Before he ever put a pool in the ground he worked as a railroad engineer, and he has spent his whole life taking things apart to find out how they go back together. That habit never left him.
It showed up first in renovation work on houses, where you learn quickly that what sits behind a wall matters more than what sits on it. A pool turned out to be the same problem at a larger scale. Grade, drainage, plumbing, structure. Get those right and the part everyone sees takes care of itself.
He started Glassy Mountain Pools to do that work on his own terms, with his own crew and no runaround.
Customers tend to describe him the same way. One wrote that after talking with several builders, “Jeremy was the only one I felt I could trust,” and that he was genuinely trying to make a pool affordable for an average family. Another said Glassy Mountain gave the fastest response and the straightest quote of anyone they called. When Hurricane Helene set a job back and damaged work already finished, the homeowner simply noted that Jeremy “jumped to action to get things done.”
Away from the job he is a family man with two boys, which is a fair part of why the backyards he builds are made to be lived in rather than photographed once.
Today around 95% of the pools we build run on salt, alongside liner replacements and the retaining walls, patios, grading and drainage that make a difficult yard usable. We work across Upstate SC & Western NC from our home base in Greenville, SC, and we are licensed for pool construction and renovation.
